My Brother just lost his best friend and the Mojo 287 layout worked beautifully with the creation of this card that I sent to him this morning.
The paper that I used for making this card was horrible. It cut horribly. It left frayed edges, at first I thought my blade was dull but tried it on different paper and it was fine. So I don't know if I would recommend this paper but it was DCWV The Primrose stack.
For the base of the card I used Recollection brand white card with envelope. 4 3/5 x 6 1/4. Brown card stock was also Recollections. I inked around all the edges with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
The cat stamp was from the Craft Lounge. Kit the Kat. inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Attached to the card with dimensional adhesive The sentiment stamp on the front of the card was a wooden stamp I bought at a local stamp store, not sure who made it, inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sentiment on the inside of the card is a wooden stamp from Hobby Lobby called My Sentiments Exactly! Inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
The Scallops were cut with the Spellbinders Nestabilites Classic Scalloped Circles (LG). Used Foam dimensional adhesive to put them together
The paw edge punch was an EK Success border punch.
Pearls were from Zva Creative Pearl Bling Basic lines 0.8cm white.
I used a white and black gel pen to create the stitching lines. I used my Copic marker BG000 to trim out the kitty and halo to make them seem more white.
